I enjoy it with diet coke or cranberry juice (to make the most popular breakfast drink this side of the mississippi...in my mind)
and shots, they are always tasty. I only drink it straight if it's out of the flask.

A good one I came up with at the Shmoober Bowl:
Jerry & Cherry
1 part Sailor's
2 Cherry Coke
Sevre over ice in whatever glass is clean.

Well, tonight's the night.
So far I've had a couple glasses neat. Surprisingly smooth. Can't believe it's 46%. No need for water/ice, really.
I also tried it with Coke and discovered something cool: The cherry-like finish kind makes it taste like I used Cherry Coke when, in fact, I didn't.
Good stuff. Definitely going to join Mount Gay and Myers in my regular rum rotation. Which is good, because I need a replacement now that I found out that those assholes who ruined JD own the Appleton brand.

the best way to drink is by
yourself
in a small room
with the door closed
preferably at night.
you have the drink,
you have yourself.
lift that drink within the walls,
put it to your lips
and have it.
this is the
universe.

If I'm in one of two pubs I've found that sell the Sailor then with Coke. It lasts longer like that, but if I've ordered in a bottle then either by itself or in ginger ale. Luvly jubbly!

ive seen that stuff before, is it any good? bundaberg ginger beer is pretty good, if you like the beers more than ales.Goose-Wingman wrote:I got a bottle of Old Jamaica Ginger Ale today, with genuine Jamaican ginger root. It's really good, but if you can get it I would recommend Idris Fiery Ginger Beer purely because it kicks seven shades of shit out of any hangover and leaves you feeling loads better. It certainly doesn't taste as nice as Old Jamaica.rat bastard wrote:ive seen that stuff before, is it any good? bundaberg ginger beer is pretty good, if you like the beers more than ales.Goose-Wingman wrote:I got a bottle of Old Jamaica Ginger Ale today, with genuine Jamaican ginger root.
