PUBLIC NEW YEARS EVE ANNOUNCEMENT
Folks, I’m just going to say it: YOU DON’T NEED CHAMPAGNE FOR NEW YEARS EVE. There’s plenty of cheap, good Prosecco out there. And by midnight everyone will (hopefully) be so drunk anyway they can’t taste the difference. Spend the money you save on more booze, for fuck sake.

Re: I will say
Then you will graciously leave this realm and what will that mean to us, those who read your posts?
Found myself in the Matrix and took the red pill. Now I want the blue pill and my bottle and leave me alone.

Just some more random shit...
Ravens and crows.
Aside from the alliterative Poe, they are much smarter birds than your average person gives credit.
One of the upsides of cold, calm air is that sound travels further and is notably more crisp. During the mornings, one can hear the murders of crows (they’re not called flocks; they’re not fucking seagulls) gathering in the branches for whatever sort of crow crap they have in store for the day. Very vocal birds with a distinct language I don’t claim to speak fluently. But you can tell when they’re lonely or pissed or injured, or when they’ve come across a grain spill on the railroad tracks.
Ravens are even more evolved and interesting. They are every bit the adept mimic as polly parrot or Fred Armisten. The ravens in the city will mimic certain sounds they like such as revving cars, barking dogs or wind chimes. I’ve even heard a raven impression of a police siren. For such goth looking birds they are quite fascinating.

And afterwords we can run amok! Or if you're too tired, we can walk amok.

We have this nasty winter storm right now. I feed the birds outside all kinds of things from the pet-store.
Especially some fatty and salty rings that you hang from the trees.
If you got snowed in would you eat that?

I guess if it got down to eating nothing and eating random shit hanging from trees. But I'd inspect it carefully because people around here tend to tie little baggies of dog shit to low hanging branches. Yes they clean up after their dogs but they're just too dumb and/or lazy to throw in their own garbage.
