Re: Livening things up with a Booze Film Review
I think they did a direct-to-video cartoon a few years ago, that's probably the third.

anyone else feel that the quality of the booze reviews has been slipping? meaning it used to be about movies that were like 90% about drinking. Now it seems the movie selections have been movies where theres very little drinking involved, maybe a scant few seconds of drinking or a movies that could barely even be considered drinking films
They should seriously reconsider the movies they pick. Personally booze film reviews where theres a fellow drinking a beer for a few seconds (which is nearly every film or so) is not worthy of being reviewed
s there really such a low amount of films that are centered around drinking or have a large portion of the film show the chARACTERS drinking that booze reviews has run out of finding? did they really run low they had to stoop to films barely with any drinking

I didn't know wha tthe third movie was, but it was on the disc. It could have been a Dixie Highway Target Special, or I could be from the future. But i am pretty sure that I wasn't halucinating.

Casino,
Not sure if a classy motherfucker like you is into childish things like videogames, but they've done a few Riddick games for Xbox. Haven't played them myself, but they seem fairly well-received, and Diesel lends his voice to the proceedings. Could be worth a look.

When it comes to video games (and love), Casino is all big toes.

Funny you mention that, Gamestop has their own little magazine that they push, and lemme tell ya, they are not swayed by any corporate nonsense. That magazine, they hate everything and everyone. They hate me, they hate you, they hate their subscribers, and no video game is ever good enough.Jiggers McCoy wrote:Casino,

except for
Butcher Bay was mentioned in one line in the Chronicles of Riddick, and they made a videogame out of it. It has to suck, right? NOPE, Gamestop magazine was gushing over this videogame, I've never seen such a glowing review. They may as well have been throwing roses and virgins at the game, that's how glowing the review was. They were in love, they were smitten. even though the game came out eight years ago, I still wanna buy it, just to see what the thing is about. I haven't seen a review from them like that since.
Diesel lends his voice, as does Keith David, the cleric from Pitch Black and TCOR
I like him best as the perennially pissed off Childs in "The Thing"

I'm not a fan of Ray Nelson, but I am a fan of his short story that inspired "They Live".frankennietzsche wrote:

Re: Livening things up with a Booze Film Review
I think they kind of benchmarked the Alien movies when they created this one, in some ways; mainly the super-distinct characters like Toombs and grown-up Kyra, and the overall feel of the prison on Crematoria. I was kind of waiting for Charles S. Dutton to walk out of the shadows.TheBigCasino wrote: and, get this, is even better than - Aliens…

If Dutton showed up in Crematoria, that would be hilarious - and somehow fitting. after Alien3, I can't picture him in any other role - or environment.
