Re: SANDWICHES!!!!!
Mr Mustard is, by far, my favorite mustard. For some reason, it has become hard to find in grocery stores around here. I blame Capitalist Reactionaries.

So much for your much vaunted "Stadium Mustard", Cleaveland.

Re: Oh Sammich glory.
I remembered this thread today not long after lunch. Split this awesome huge sandwich of shaved steak, melted provolone, spicy fries and coleslaw. Also had a so-so IPA that was at least fairly strong. I didn't have my phone/camera/pop-tart device with me at the time so I found a picture of it on the interweb. Who doesn't love a ridiculously huge sandwich and a beer?
Re: Oh Sammich glory.
Never go without your pop-tart device. Lesson learned.
Don't worry. We're in no hurry.

Re: SANDWICHES!!!!!
Dear Friends,
Had one of those Impossible Whoppers the other day. You know, the one made from "plants". Rest assured, it's every bit as slutty and atrocious as the regular Whopper but with notes of soylant green and public school hamburger patty.

Re: SANDWICHES!!!!!
Public school hamburger patty?!? I've always wanted to relive the glory of the high school cafeteria! Sign me up.
Re: SANDWICHES!!!!!
I've had one of those a few times. I really don't mind it, but it's not worth the price.
The patty has to be hella cheap and they charge regular Whopper prices.
Don't worry. We're in no hurry.

Re: SANDWICHES!!!!!
We had Hamburger Day once in a blue moon in grade school which I am assuming is the soylant green patty BF is referring to but damn I brought my extra $ to school for it every time it was so good. I can't even tell you why.

This rocks! Love the tiny beer mugs. We are very close to Düsseldorf and they produce most triumphant mustard there.ThirstyBirdy wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2019 6:16 pm

Re: This sandwich? - yay or nay?
The Griswold from The Oath in Sleepy Hollow, NY was featured on Man vs. Food. I must go there.
It's a "local brewery which offers over 20 different beers to go with their wide variety of unique dishes, for the massive Griswold sandwich - fried chicken smothered in a Buffalo-beer sauce (which also uses French's yellow mustard) and topped with bacon, Sriracha maple syrup, a poutine puck (a sharp white Cheddar slice breaded in hash browns, shredded Parmesan cheese and Panko bread crumbs, then deep-fried), and gravy, all sandwiched between two Belgian waffles".
YES! YES! YES! (picture the Herbal Essence shampoo commercials from back in the 90's) YES! It's like a drunkard dream come true for me.
