Found myself in the Matrix and took the red pill. Now I want the blue pill and my bottle and leave me alone.

Re: Whatcha listening to?
I'm sure I've posted it before, but I discovered Mark Lanegan in a discussion thread dedicated to fellow drunks on an imageboard about a year and a half ago, and I've become absolutely hooked. This here is an alcoholic anthem. This particular song, for me, both captures that melancholy drunk feel we all get sometimes during alone drinking sessions, along with, sometimes, that morning wake-up where you swear off booze.... only to hit the bottle again 8 hours later. Enjoy. Lanegan is a personal favorite. If this song does it for you, hit me for recommendations. If it doesn't, I challenge you to hit me for other songs of his, and I'll hit you with more songs. If I try, I'm sure I can make anybody a Lanegan convert.

This comes from a notorious Alcoholic, opiate addict, and nicotine addict singer. He's got me as a relatable character on the alcohol and nicotine.

Once I've got these legal fees sorted out, I'm buying a skateboard again. I was always shit at it and could barely ride on flat pavement, but I at least want to be good enough to ride on slightly cracked sidewalks, olly, and take it to class if I want.

SOCIAL D, BABY. Literally my favorite band, in constant ebb and flow with The Clash for that top slot.

Re: Whatcha listening to?
Sometimes I get really down over certain aspects of my life.
"I was happy in the haze of a drunken hour... but heaven knows I'm miserable now...."
Sounds like a good Modern Drunkardist song.
The Smiths Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now

Holy shit, you guys have to hear this. It's a lounge-style arrangement of Snoop Dogg's Gin and Juice.
