Welcome, welcome, welcome. Please join us in drink and drunkard conversation. We're glad you are here. Especially because the new guy buys the next round, and my glass is empty, and I'm thirsty, and I'm out of money.Lmsduchess wrote: ↑Fri Dec 08, 2017 5:56 pmHi everyone,
I'm sorry for the belated entry, but circumstances have rather dictated the situation. Anyway, I'm a student in the United Kingdom who is studying Politics at Swansea University (Wales). I've always been fascinated by booze (obviously being a student), however being a modern drunkard it is sometimes hard to find such sympathy among my peers. Anyway, that's who I am guys, happy drinking!

Welcome and greetings. Yes, as is tradition in our hallowed pub, the new guy does indeed buy. Make mine an Old Fashioned with a splash of dry sherry, if you would, please. Through all of your travails, may the drink serve thee well as your copilot.Lmsduchess wrote: ↑Fri Dec 08, 2017 5:56 pmHi everyone,

That, sir, is a bald faced lie. I checked your bank just this morning.Dear Booze wrote: ↑Sat Dec 09, 2017 10:49 am... and my glass is empty, and I'm thirsty, and I'm out of money.
And you still owe me $600 for the bottle of Kinky and the Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald pole dance in the VIP room.

Aloha from the land of tiki drunk tourists. I've just discovered this glorious community and magazine and hope I am not too late to the show. I'm strictly a whiskey and beer drinker, with a gin and tonic thrown in from time to time. I do dabble in the occasional sip of whatever tropical concoction my wife is having at the tiki bar.

The tradition around here is the new guy buys the next round. I'll have a tropical concoction from your tiki bar.
Cheers!

I don't know if you've ever had proper Somerset scrumpy (cider), however I'm sure that most of the drunkards on this forum would certainly enjoy some proper brewed scrumpy from the heart of Somerset. It's a shame you can't enjoy such a taste, oh the joys of being born in the West country!!Artful Detective wrote: ↑Fri Dec 15, 2017 5:33 pmHit me up with a Somerset Scrumpy.
