Coastal cool weather prevails in SoCal making perfect conditions to be stoned, drunk and cross faded any way you like. Morning overcast will be thick and so will be your head. Clouds prevailing past 1pm will probably last all day. Increased alcohol consumption is recommended when there is reduced sunshine because of overcast skies. Temps will be in in the low 50's F through the night and in the high 60's during the day. Prepare accordingly!

It appears as though spring may actually be coming to the Upstate NY region. Doesn't look like we are getting any snow at all this coming week. I'll believe this when I see it though.

We got a little bit of snow up on the mountains. They're offering free skiing this weekend. I'd go, but it will be crowded as hell, I'm guessing.
Don't worry. We're in no hurry.

Well, It's June. And just like clockwork the heat has been ushered in to fuck with us all for about 90 days.

California's weather is great, on paper. Yea, we have 3,427 miles of ocean shoreline, and another 32,000 MILES of lakeshore. Nice, huh? A couple of years ago, a former Google engineer made an interactive chart to showcase the places with the “most pleasant days” every year (taken from National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration data) and Southern California dominates, with both Los Angeles and San Diego having more than 180 “pleasant” days a year. In fact, the top five most pleasant places are all in California. THERE IS A REASON THE MAMAS & THE PAPAS WROTE THAT DAMN SONG.

But I live in the middle of the state. In the giant Central San Joaquin Valley. And from June through August, it literally becomes hell on earth. Temperatures top out at about 110 degrees every day and drop to a pleasant 85 at night. A cold snap in this area means we drop to the mid 90s during the day. And we look forward to that. There is no humidity. Just a bladt furnace.

And here's the best thing. People just love to say "at least it's a dry heat".
