Billy always seems to have that affect indeed. Love him. He's unique...not many can be compared to him really. And acapella? Really? Who does that?! Wow! This was Mancini contributing to the 'exotica lounge' music that was taking off underground during the '60's while the youngsters were grooving to rock and roll. This was for adults at the time. Les Baxter was leading the way but all these established composers hated him because he was tearing up their space and making a huge niche that they had to emulate or lose market share. This is the ultimate tiki lounge drinking music. Let's have more of this!
