I never had a shower beer before this summer when I was camping. It just never occurred to me

Shower beer, ohfukyea.

When i was a chimney sweep in Fuckno, CA, you never showered at the beginning of the day. You showered right after you got home. Get dropped off in the work vehicle, and picked up in it the next work day. Soot everywhere.

You didn't want that crap in your personal vehicle.

Of course you wear a proper dust mask: rubber thing with (ironically) charcoal canisters, and goggles, each cleaning of them rich folk's chimneys. You leave the coverall at work: they wash them there, and you grab another one after you cash out and they take you home.

So you get the shower steaming up and chug the first frosty-cold beverage. Then you bring the second one with you into the shower.

Black snot rockets reveal that dust masks don't do shit.

But that ice cold brewskie, well, that was like heaven.

I usually don't bring a beer in the shower. Tried it today. I'm a big fan. It was a quiet, introspective beer. Exactly what I needed after a night of chugging rum.

We have a chair on the shower now, since the gf recently had knee surgery. Sitting down under the shower head with a cold beer after hockey is heaven. HEAVEN!
