Re: Olympic Hockey
Now we're in the shitty position of having to root for Canada. Someone buy Ryan Miller a drink.

I like the Canadians, and hope they win tonight to set up a great Gold Medal game.

The cabin sits shut-down, cold-frozen and empty, dead mice in the traps, waiting for me to drink alone there in the dark.

I saw a handle of Seagram's 7 sitting next to a handle of Kessler on the bottom shelf just now and decided to spend the extra dollar on the Seagram's to show my support. Now if Canada wins and goes on to beat the US then I'm going to feel like it was my fault.Rip Rufus wrote:I like the Canadians, and hope they win tonight to set up a great Gold Medal game.

Not sure if your contribution to the Canadian economy will be a deciding factor, but Sunday's gold medal game should be EPIC.Chimneyfish wrote:I saw a handle of Seagram's 7 sitting next to a handle of Kessler on the bottom shelf just now and decided to spend the extra dollar on the Seagram's to show my support. Seagram's 7 is so fucking sickly sweet and horrible. I need nights like these to remind me why bourbon is the greatest thing ever invented.

Re: Olympic Hockey
If anyone wants to invade Canada, tomorrow is going to be the day to do it.
Game starts 12:15 pm pacific, 3:15 eastern time. 4:45 in Newfoundland, and 8:15 at Stonehenge.
Trying to decide whether to go down to the local, or watch it at home.

Re: Olympic Hockey
End of the 1st and I'm groovin' on this game. Played a benefit over in Eindhoven, Nederlands earlier; got home to Belgium with @90mins to spare. Had some chow and been drinking some serious pilsner.
I usually root for Canada in international hockey (got my hockey appreciation by living 15yrs as a "landed immigrant" in Toronto) but I gotta go with the States in this one.
