How did you end up here?
I stumbled across this chat board from a link posted on a radio talk show hosts site. I can't remember his name, but I will tell you he was way more offensive to most than Stern and was on this AM Canadian station I got in Washington state. They were trying some kinda talk radio for men format out. Tom Lycus I think his name was. That was about ten years ago, and I only had a year or so of being here regularly before I had to leave for a while... but hey, I check in every now and again and was wondering how y'all found yer way here.
need a woman be good to me... won't hide my whiskey try to serve me tea...
Re: How did you end up here?
My boyfriend at uni had printed out the Zen Drinking article and left it lying about. I read it, discovered the magazine and signed up for the chatboard. The boyfriend is now thankfully in the past, but the drinking still remains.

Re: How did you end up here?
I found it while searching various terms such as "drunk", "boozer" "drinker" "drunkard" on google while drinking rum and writing an essay for my GCSE english

Uh.. Is "I was black-out drunk" good enough answer?
Re: How did you end up here?
I think I stumbled across the 40 things every drunkard should do, whilst drunk surfing the Internet. So far I've only done 18 of them...

I got a writing credit on that one. So that's 41 off my list.

Re: How did you end up here?
Did a search looking for reviews of malt liquors and found an informative article on the site. What really clinched it was a search for 'drinking alone' and found the classic FKR article The Zen of Drinking Alone http://www.drunkard.com/issues/03_03/03 ... _alone.htm
Found myself in the Matrix and took the red pill. Now I want the blue pill and my bottle and leave me alone.
