Glad to be of service. I've tried one or two of their other varieties and have never had any complaints. This stuff, well, it was just plain bad.waahoohah wrote:Thanks for the heads-up, Bluto. I'm a fan of Lefthand as well, but if that stuff shows up here, I think I'll give it a pass.

That, and I used to live within walking distance of the place that eventually became their headquarters.

Taproom No.21 Brewing Company, Moe’s Backroom Pale Ale
It's gotten some pretty lousy reviews on all the beer afficianado sites, but I enjoyed it. Maybe because I'm not much of a hop-head. I enjoy a IPA or a PA every now and again, but some just get too bitter for my tastes.

Young's Double Chocolate Stout
It's ok in the bottle, but holy shit is it delicious on draft! My favorite non-oatmeal Stout by far. It freakin' tastes like chocolate! How is this bad?
Drink your fucking drink, how about that? Stop the fuckin' presses, isn't it genius??

I did, and got the go-ahead. I had a doc appointment yesterday and kicked ass on all the blood work.gerald_weigel wrote:Ask your heart.Mayhem wrote:How is this bad?

How did all of that stuff work out? I remember you quit booze for a month but I don't remember what happened. I guess everything was ok since your drinking again.Mayhem wrote: and kicked ass on all the blood work.
Oh and Young's is good stuff. The local Pub sells it and they also mix it with a beer that has a cherry flavor but I can't remember what it is. My wife got the mix and said it tasted just like chocolate covered cherries.
Just noticed from both points made in this post that I can't remember shit anymore.

My tests from a few months ago came out ok. I needed to have a liver screen so as to get a baseline, that's why no booze for a month. The bloodwork I just had done also said that my liver enzymes are good, along with cholesteral.

Baltika 9 (extra lager)
From the people that gave us Stalin, Baltika beers. Each number corresponds to the kind of beer it is, for example I believe the 2 is a wheat beer and the 4 is a porter. Oh great, now I feel bad in case that last part was wrong. And the website isn't helping me any. Why don't all of the letters spell like, real words... MAN? And why are some of them backwards? And also, y'know, like not real letters.
Anyway, I'm chillin' on the #9 which is their 8% monster. One of the guys who works at my liquor store seems like he's angling to lead their cult. I probably would not have posted this were I not to have considered it a worthy endeavor (endeavour?)

Be safe everyone.
