I usually get the cookies when they're pimping them outside of the supermarket. they don't go door to door anymore...they seem to have this aversion to being molested by dirty old men that like young girls and cookies.GinSoakedGirl wrote:These are sold by your equivalent of Brownies door to door unless American television has lied to me, yes?ampersand wrote:they're quite spectacular though, worth your trouble, I promise!!GinSoakedGirl wrote:At least the first five times I saw this thread, I read the title as 'samosas'. I had to look that one up. Yes, the Girl Guides & Girl Scouts are pretty much the same. Both have "brownies" and both sell cookies.GinSoakedGirl wrote:These are sold by your equivalent of Brownies door to door unless American television has lied to me, yes?ampersand wrote:they're quite spectacular though, worth your trouble, I promise!!GinSoakedGirl wrote:At least the first five times I saw this thread, I read the title as 'samosas'. Drunkard Food?
That might sound like a bit of a paradox there.
But what do you folks enjoy during a night on the turps (btw, I'm not talking about the next day when you are going to eat like a horse that got into the greens paddock)?.
I'm also not talking about them beer nuts that are so salty, they'd make a Methodist drink.
Personally,
I like Cheese and Bacon put on bread and grilled, with lashings of black pepper, good to eat hot or cold.
You want to eat too much, otherwise there is no room left for what matters most.
Yours?

That should actually read "You DON'T want to eat too much, otherwise there is no room left for what matters most."You want to eat too much, otherwise there is no room left for what matters most.
Why is there no edit button here?
I would have thought that a forum that catered to the "liquorally-challenged" would at least have such a thing.
Bugger me.

I have a strong tradition of eating expensive but goot hot dogs from the stand a few blocks down. No ketchup, with strong mustard and herb sauce, crisp-fried and fresh onions. Man gotta love it.,
